Year End Summary

Well that seems to have gone quickly. When I embarked on this I hoped to back up recent years profits, and if anything I have exceeded my expectations. A final profit of 272.7 pts is a substantial one by any measure.

I have long believed that I am better at picking winners over jumps and this exercise confirmed that. Until this last year I haven't ordinarily bet on the flat, bar the big festival meetings and I will be returning to that strategy again now. It was only when the Winter kicked in that profits started to escalate, and the big meetings at Cheltenham and Aintree were particularly kind.

Unfortunately work commitments mean I will not be able to continue this blog, and there doesn't seem any point continuing if I can't be sure that I can post selections with any regularity.

Good luck to one and all.
