Glorious Goodwood - Saturday

Well just when it looked like I was about to have a losing day, up popped Catfish in the lucky last to put me ahead again. The SP of 8/1 also showed the value of getting early prices, which in this instance doubled the pay out.

Summary: Bet - 30pts, Return - 44pts, Profit - 14pts
Overall Profit - 99.05pts

Race analysis for the final day of the festival as follows:

2:05 - A difficult start again. One of the Kevin Ryan runners could pop up at a decent price, but the one that stands out to me is Novellen Lad.
Recommended Bet: Novellen Lad - 6pts @ 14/1* (William Hill)

2:35 - Verdant is respected, while Sabotage could well outperform its long odds, but Investissement's course and distance win is the persuasive factor that divides the three of them.
Recommended Bet: Investissement - 4pts @ 12/1* (William Hill)

3:10 - A match between Midday and Snow Fairy. Preference is for Midday but the present odds are too restrictive to tempt a bet.
No Bet

3:45 - A low draw looks favourable, and the huge field means we want to get a decent price on any selection. The three that fit that scenario that have a squeak are Crown Choice, Mon Cadeaux and Global City. When do you get to bet Frankie at 40-1? This is it!
Recommended Bet: Global City - 3pts ew @ 40/1 (Paddy Power)

4:20 - Sports Section is my fancy here, but again the odds presently available are too restrictive.
No Bet

4:55 - The Brian Meehan stadium are firing at the moment and it looks like he has another likely 2 year old here.
Recommended Bet: Safari Storm - 3pts @ 8/1* (Tote)

5:35 - Henry Cecil's Frankel has been the star of the show this week and I fancy the trainer to have the last winner as the meeting bows out, in Diescentric.
Recommended Bet: Diescentric - 2pts @ 12/1* (William Hill)

Other TV races:
2:20 Newmarket: Majestic Dream - 2pts @ 10/1* (Ladbrokes)
2:50 Newmarket: Ballyea - 1pt @ 16/1 (Coral)
